The Distinguished Lecturer (DL) Program of the IEEE Magnetics Society has been in existence since 1980. On a yearly basis one or more DLs are chosen and funded by the Magnetics Society to deliver lectures on magnetism and related topics to Universities, Magnetics Society Chapters, Companies, and National Laboratories around the globe that have an interest in topics related to magnetism.
