Equation (8) of the preprint misses an important term. Field-cooling is accompanied by increase of the superfluid density. This occurs by redistribution of thermally excited BCS quasi-particles over momenta. The corresponding change in their total (angular) momentum is transmitted to the ions via phonons and/or impurities.
