Neurophysics Research

Active Sensation:

This program addresses how the vibrissa sensorimotor system of rodnts extracts a stable world view through its actively moving sensors.

Neocortical Microcirculation and Neurovascular Control:

This program explores the neuronal control of cortical blood flow at the level of whole vascular networks down to that of individual microvessels.

The Murine Angiome:

We establish the angioarchitecture and associated neuronal and nonneuronal somata in the mouse brain to delineate permissible patterns of blood flow and their control points.
